Can you help to accommodate some friends in mid February?
The theatre group I'm involved with are coming to Edinburgh in February 7th-15th and I'm trying to help people find places to stay. You could charge people a little cash. We will be working from 9.30 - 6 ( at least ) each day so you wouldn't see that much of them only see them in the evenings or at ...

August 29th is the Psychedelic Fish Disco upstairs in the hall. There will be music, dance and cabaret performances. We want artists to come together and help create backdrops. What is it with the forest and severed heads? P.a. system
WE should swap the upstairs for the downstairs p.a. system, it's more than adequate. Those huge bass speakers we have in the cafe, don't actually do anything but take up space. The Upstairs p.a. will go on speaker stands which are useful to help spread sound around properly. More often than not when...

Nix tells me we are getting a computer in the cave so that we can record music and the radio shows. At the moment the cd burner on the eight track doesn't work, so it needs to be mixed down to a computer before we can do anything with what we record. Anyone any idea when this computer might be ready...

So I went to open the toilet door and it was locked. “You might have to wait a minute” said an angry voice. “Yeah, blatantly”, I muttered accidentally, kind of pissed off that someone would be pissed off at me just for trying the toilet door. We could really use speakers that are raised off the ground for a decent sound. Lyrics that were written to be heard are being wasted if no-one can make them out over the sound of the band.

Most Wednesdays evenings from now we'll have a gathering downstairs in the Cave. There will be quiet music going on upstairs so we can't disturb them with drums and things that are amplified too loudly. I'm going to steer jam sessions in the direction of LIVE performances and recordings.
