Re: DIARY

Echo the 12 days of Christmas and place something from each month each day in Latest News, or something like that? Practical?

Can't wait to see them either.

Caroline.

'effin freezing!      If still stuck and, if a join-the-dots and photographs are ok and (last if I promise) if you can scan any day from Saturday onwards...  then could do 4 pages 3 photographs and 1 drawn 'join-the-dots'  (might put other activities on that page too)

Re: Archive of events and images (gallery)

Think that's a great idea. Suggest that people maybe opt to collect one specific area - or two - and then put it all together. It's working well so far for me collecting the visuals re fundraising.

Re: Films@TheForest Fundraiser - 25th of Feb.

Oh yes, that too for definite, methinks. With respect to the idea overall, have taken the liberty of collecting all on my own desktop and hope that all creators are ok with that. The endgame is an old-fashioned (very) thick book containing all of the lovely promotional work. Any chance that people c...

Re: Films@TheForest Fundraiser - 25th of Feb.

Hope it went well over the week-end. Kata, I tried to find you earlier today so you could see my face! To help perhaps -we spoke briefly on Friday afternoon in the cafe and even more briefly in the gallery as you were talking to Grazyna. That's great news about it being easy - technically - for peop...

That's loads of us who love this poster - Collector's Item re fundraising perhaps? Bet there's more than one person who would pay good money for a limited edition with a unique stamped dateline to be designed especially (download in exchange for minimum donation) Is this possible technically? Glad there's another furry fan. There's a pet portrait (b&w) project hanging around in the brain too. Possibly as part of any fundraiser - great thing about chairs is portability and see it outside with a donation hat; a tripod (possibly); camera (definitely); and other possibles.. If pet preferred ...

Hairy Chairs / Couches

What about having one chair for the hairy / furry ones? I suggest this as I have a chair to offer. The standard 'S' shape Scandanivan job from IKEA. Fire safety compliance label is still attached.

Any good? PM if yes.

Yes, and on the home page first on the list under 'About Forest' is Volunteering and when you open that, the three ways are listed. So, a hint and a suggestion that it's a good idea to volunteer perhaps?

Like the intention and the sarcasm even - however, what about including a sentence saying exactly what is done with any information received so people will know what truly happens rather than just what doesn't? See this as worthwhile especially when inviting people to be members. Something like: Unl...

Re: doors for gallery

Agree with Simone: all fine as it is. Should an artist wish to bring something lockable her/himself, then ok especially as it can be annoying to visit shows when people are sitting in the window space drinking tea. However, in the spirit of TK / Forest, my view is that open and fee space to exhibit ...

VAGW : CJ Start

Hello VAWG, Caroline here. Had a show there in the last week of October last year. Met Simone obviously and Martin who made the poster, hi yas and thanks again. (Mirja too if she was the person who asked the - to me still - strange question about whether I'd made the work myself.) Had intended to ge...
