Forest closure for PAINTING YES and such
Hey pals,
Forest is closing 13/14 July to repaint and generally refresh. Very open to ideas and, of course, help!
Largely healdining this project are Bree and Ellen. We're even ... painting over the mural. We'll need another eh.

Re: Sock Box - Altruistic Current
Hey Mr. Current, I think this could find a spot in our Free Shop. We've had a set of shelves dedicated to dropping off and picking up free stuff for many years now, and could certainly encourage the sock idea within it. We also do suspended coffee, so people coming by for socks could grab a hot drin...

4by8 - whoooo??
Hey y'all, 4by8 has been the same for ages (one half empty, one half very old). Has it got a team?? We get questions to the events e-mail occasionally, and the kitchen too, about visual stuff. Where should we be sending them? Is there a folder somewhere with details of bookings for the walls, contac...

I added you to the google calendar, did it not come through? Everything's pretty much nailed down already, with some exceptions that're moving more slowly. We're in a position to print fliers as soon as they're designed. Not sure of Stevie's timescale for the month-long one. Suky is going to have th...

Re: Fringey Stuff
This is quite awkward as they've shuffled a few dates with this coming closest to confirmed. I could encourage them towards another date but I did tell them "I have booked 7th provisionally so it doesn't get snapped up before we can confirm". They are 3 female 1 male. Would it be too disappointing a...

Yeah we need to start. We also need to meet up. Can't publicise before we have a name. Well, I could do a Facebook schedule-type event to start us off tthen edit it when we've all met up. Yeah I'll do that tomorrow. As for poster we need word from Stevie.

Excellent. Feels like an elegant approach. Iain would you contact Caro?
On an unrelated note, we have a rather exciting bit of interest from Mighty Oak Sound System. Big reggae collective who want to do an 11-3 set one of our big nights. Could be amazing. Any thoughts on where to put them?

Re: Fringey Stuff
Rachel's (quite amazing) poet friend hosts a slam in Glasgow which twice has only invited female performers but not mentioned anything on the billing. I like this idea a lot for loads of reasons, main one being it says 'this is not a big deal' about a gender situation people won't come across often....

Guess we should do it then! I don't disagree with taking active steps to redress long-standing inequality, I think that's very important. You can add notes to Google Calendar events if you click 'edit event', and can put the confirmed events in green, too. Without clicking through you can do only title and time.

Jen and the Gents want in on someone else's night, one of their possibilities is 14th. If that night goes to Max he might want to know they're an option. 14th is definitely a good one for Max. 15th is good for DIVE.
We need a date for Annabel's solo show, based around a seance. Totally separate except that she's doing both.
DIVE definitely gets a full night, I was hoping you'd ask her whether her solo show would finish in time to put things on afterwards.
