Re: Badge making machine

I use http://www.mybadges.co.uk for our badges at the shop. Having done a review of merchandising and suppliers recently and giving consideration to the cost to do it in-house, they appeared to be the best value for money and comparable when considering the costs of purchasing all the badge bits sep...

Re: Pockets is famous???? no..... really??

You should cover Merry Christmas (I don't want to fight tonight) by the Ramones!!

I think a cover of that would sound good on the kazookeylele - maybe it's not well known enough for the Tonight show though?

Re: Pockets is famous???? no..... really??

The Tonight Show does have a talent co-ordinator called Bryan Branly. The NBC studios they fil it in are in Burbank California, which is also the area code of the telephone number you have been given.

May be fake, but can't rule out it being real either.

Re: Forest in Guardian

http://blogs.guardian.co.uk/theatre/2008/08/edinburgh_festival_has_anyone.html ...my main reason to dismiss the pessimists came on Tuesday at the opening of the Forest Fringe. Yes, it's already had a ludicrous amount of press attention and the Guardian's very own Charlotte Higgins blogged there thro...

I'll be there from 11am to help out, but didn't want to put my name down for a shift as I am not comfortable serving alcohol (i hate asking for id and being asked by smartasses for my own id in return!!).

I will be there to help set up and help collect empty cups though.

See you there. xx

Brett Dennen - So much more. Andy and I saw this guy supporting Rodrigo y Gabriella last year and after seeing him perform I had to sneek off before the main act to ensure I got his CD. With hints of acoustic, pop, reggae, folk and latin music his sound is great, but it's his lyrics that hooked me -...

So, the volunteering emails are still being forwarded to me - which is fine, I have been picking them up and answering them on a weekly basis as far as possible (although I reckon I am only getting 2-3 per month anways, nbot including the EUS ones, which I have been forwarding to Gaz). Sorry - I'm stuck at work making up the hours for Tuesday.

We need some space for reference material - magazines/manuals etc. as well.

I'll try and pop in at some point this weekend to see if there are any little jobs I can help with, but cannot promise I'm afraid.

Might it be possible/a good idea to turn the front room more in to an information space/community action space/show of what the Forest in the larger sense is?
