ok, this is getting URGENT, no responses to this yet... We need somebody with a CARD NUMBER to go to pick up the machine with me monday morning. I will drive, but they need to register a card at the time of the rental for security reasons. There will not be a charge on this card. No card, no rental....

it should say on the tin how much its supposed to cover, and with this stuff we might be fine without slashing on extra layers, but just whats recommended, so it should last better than the stuff we used in the gallery ( and that was less than 5 l). but we should check on the tin and eyeball the spa...

just some thoughts here, painting might not be a good idea with the sanding, as the dust tends to stick to the paint as its drying... you will end up with a load of gunk. So monday, tuesday maybe to concentrate on the rest of the kitchen renovations. also, the work in the kitchen has to cease on wed...

Ok, more details. About the machine rental, -the cheapest deal is with BASICALLY Tool Hire, they are in Dalkeith. ( £50 +VAT + the belts and paper we use, for 2 days /2 machines total. This stuff we will be using is waterborne and ultrafast drying.
Recoating time is 2-3 hours,
and the varnish should be perfectly dry for the cafe to open by the morning 2nd of July.

to rent on sunday means we have to pay for the whole weekend.
my suggestion is to rent the sanders on monday and tuesday and be strategic about it, and
varnish wednesday. thats our cheapest option.

hmmm, This is where some of the suitcase stuff might be handy If we divvy, beginning the september, the year into four week slots, there is one week between sept and oct (27th-4th) extra... 27th dec-to 3rs jan is extra... a week between march and april ( 28th-4th) also, and one between june and july...
