ARGH. Me and Milk started testing and salvaging the useful bits. There's some good stuff in there (AMD Quad Core, etc) and lots of bits that can be used for repair.

The licensing laws don't actually prohibit drinks being taken outside, I don't think but it's certainly something that can be applied as a condition on a license.

This appears to already be a feature of newer phpBB versions so an upgrade should add it. If not, I have written a patch that will do the same but I need admin permissions on the bb to apply it.

Why would you need to? On one of the machines (second in from door, I think) and the Sparcs automount your /home from the fieserver when you login and if you don't have your own account, it logs in as forest and mounts that as /home.

Chris: No, you need to be connected to the forest network when you want to setup/use the printer. It is probably possible to set something up so you could print to it from home but that would involve a lot of faffing about with port-forwarding and making the printer internet-facing, which is as bad ...
