yo.. film experience vastly improved...

i moved the projector.. it is better..(i also cleaned the lens, as u guys predicted it was filthy)

as well as surround sound, the sound can now go throught the pa, just make sure of these things:

*only the dvd or video is playing (if they both play then the sounds are combined)
*make sure the phono plugs labbelled 'film' are plugged into the stage box (on the stage!) phono sockets.
*make sure the phono plugs labelled 'film' are plugged into the left hand side phono sockets on the mixing desk by the decks.
*turn the volumes up on the desk as required.

sounds much much better.

Thanks for that. We'll have to come in early on Monday to accuaint ourselves with all these phono plugs. Where did you put the dog in the box though?
