As discussed at the volunteer meeting on Saturday, working groups need to come up with a short description of what they do which will be put on a leaflet to go on the tables. This leaflet is supposed to be more effective than the posters on the notice board that no one ever reads.
To remind everyone, our mission statement is:

The Film Working Group aims to promote cinema as an artform, not just as entertainment. To this end, the group will screen films in a conducive atmosphere, and also provide a means for emerging film makers to have their work seen alongside that of more established directors.
I'm not very inspired just now, so my suggestion is:

Someone else can probably do better.
