All:

So, the Octopus Diamond has a spare friday night going on the Friday of July 13th.

Here's the thoughts:

1) on july 6th we will have some feedback re: our building / eus so a mega-party fundraiser at the OD would be a good way to raise awareness of our issues in the press and amongst the general populace. Also, we can make about a grand if we do the right work and invite everyone we know and make it totally cool.

2) this could be a goodbye to wilkie the sight of Middle-Forest and former home of one, Richard Christian, patron saint of the Free-Shop. It could be a lovely party and it can let people who are worried about our state have an outlet and we can spread information on what we need to do for the future of our organazation.

So....

do we wanna do this? Who would play? Accoustic sets and poetry in the bar, and amazing loud stuff in the main room. we could probably get 5 bands in the line-up.

what do we think?

I think great idea, but can't really help with organising the line up. Would be happy to do the door, though.

I did my end and contacted all the players certainly other members of the collective want to help make this awesome?

I am thinking on it, but drawing a blank at the moment. Why didn't we talk about this on Thursday night?!?!

THIS WILL BE AMAZING IF WE HYPE it. I kept up my end and got the bands to commit to play.

Can anyone else do stuff: make posters, flyer, tell everyone on the bb / my space facebook etc?

We ought to text hype. We should do this for all big events. Does OD have a list of phone nos we can use for this one?
