camping on tyninghame beach

lets go camping this weekend (8th-9th of may)!
when: meeting on the 8th at 2pm at the forest, noon for cyclers
where: taking vans, bikes, cars and driving to tyninghame
take all you need, it will be fun...hope you can join!

This would be brilliant - http://edinburghnightrides.blogspot.com/ is on the 9th and it would be great if there were already people on the beach to meet and hang out with when we get there.

aaand there's gonna be a beltane fire society party there on the 9th (i think, hasn't been confirmed yet). their plan is to bring some wood and source the rest there (i think).

is there anywhere specific to meet or will we just find each other when there? somewhere nearish car park?

We're meeting at the Forest at 12 and travelling in a convoy, I think.

Otherwise, we parked in the car park and then headed up to the log cabin (the track that isn't marked beach).

can someone post a map of the route there? i can't make tomorrow afternoon but i might cycle it if i can borrow my neighbour's bike for sat-sun, though i'd be going out in the afternoon. thanks.
