so,

it's not a pub crawl and it's not a flash mob (exactly)... though people like to include some of that

i used to organize it in boston (not in a place to organize anything myself at this point in my life but) i think it would be a good thing to do, forest and on.... i am more than happy to give helpful advice if anyone wants to do this. it is really really fun.

we used to go ice skating en mass, sing naughty carols through the fetish fleamarket and on to the mall, crash corporate partys and beat people with over sized candy canes, drink hard liquor out of pinsol bottles.... kickball in public parks, xmas tree pinatas filled with porn, nips, condoms and other treats... general mayhem but don't fuck with little kids. that is a no no.

anyway- it all started with some anarchists in the 70s in holland. it's fun and gets people together.

Suggestion for Dec 17th, can use scavenger hunt to advertise... also, probably get hardcore SantaConers to come up from London and other cities- pretty big in Burningman crowd.

i guess all it really takes is picking a day, time and place to meet, and some good advertiseing and blammo. you;ve got it.
having the extra stuff is just fun. and it's pretty easy to make a santa ish costume.

if you have a place it would be cool to go, or something fun to do as a group of drunk santas and elves and reindeer hollah... if you know a bar we can attempt to arrange for "santa's special" ei, tell them in advance a whole pack of santa's are gonna come in a get a bunch of drinks and maybe santa get's a discount??? (is that legal? something says maybe not... here but.... maybe it is?) I mean, santa wants a discount on booze you know?

1)Develop a route, walk it/ Option: introduce yourself to the bars and set up Santa specials. In some cities this is a good idea, in some it is a bad idea. Mostly good though in the 2 cities that I've tried it in.
2)Announce your date and start point/time.
3)Release the route either the night before or day of. Fuck the media.
4)have fun.
