Forest BB

Hi there
According to the schedule in the Action Room and to the Website the Cafe and Events Meeting would have been tonight. But as there were only evs and no kitchen managers we decided to postpone the meeting.
Would next Thursday (15 October) at 7pm be ok? Do you think its better to have the Cafe and Events Meeting on the first Thursday of the month now, as the Artist Facilities Meeting has been moved to the first Wednesday?

the Artist Facilities WG meeting should have not been moved to the date the Cafe & Events WG meeting was scheduled for.

can people please remember that, if they need to reschedule a meeting, they need to check what has already been arranged for potential new dates. the most accurate event date/time information is currently on the website calendar @ http://theforest.org.uk/events . if the calendar in the action room has other dates then it is wrong. (i'll confirm this to be sure soon)

while no-one from the kitchen turned up, were the kitchen managers and kitchen volunteers reminded about the Cafe & Events meeting in some manner (is there any notice up on the board in the kitchen about it? has the volunteer mailing list been used for such reminders? as torstein noted at the last volunteer meeting, people will check their inboxes more than they will check the BB for information.)

while the people involved in a Working Group can reschedule meetings if it's really absolutely definitely necessary (by discussing the need for a temporary change on the BB), only the Forest Working Group can change the this-day-of-the-month dates of the General Working Groups. the dates you can see on the website calendar are those which were confirmed by the FWG at their last meeting.

the 15th is the date for the Behind the Scenes WG.

to the SECOND WEDNESDAY, making the next meeting Nov. 11th.
