ACTION room needs ACTION

All:

Last week we agreed we would set up the much heralded Forest Action Room.

We meet at thurs at noon to progress with this project!

Things we need to do include: moving in computers and networking them, making space for the ALL NEW copier and orginizing the space for the maximum potention, organize a way to make the space work

Things we ought not to do: dump a bunch of junk in the room willy nilly.

We ought to have appropriate places to put things and a clear idea of WHAT things?

Paper. Ink. Craft stuff. Dorkbot stuff. What else NEEDS to be up there?

We also need to get the network up there.

All this and more.

NEW COPIER ARRIVES TUESDAY.

Please come to help.

I think Dorkbot already moved up the computers from infoseed, and there is a plan for some of this to be there tonight setting up, and tomorrow too.

P.S. I'll be there tonight from 7 or 8 to see if there's anything that can be done, and tomorrow night too. I can't come at noon on a week day though.

Sorry - I'm stuck at work making up the hours for Tuesday.

We need some space for reference material - magazines/manuals etc. as well.

I'll try and pop in at some point this weekend to see if there are any little jobs I can help with, but cannot promise I'm afraid.

Regarding the stuff that is in there at the moment:

Dan says that we need to keep / store the paperwork, files and photographs. Anything else that looks important should be kept. However, stuff like old magazines and hoovers and boxes of nails can be moved / scrapped. Use your own judgment. I reckon we can get that stuff to take up half the space if we wanted.
