CarolAnnes exhibition: hanging problems

Post by James » Mon Apr 16, 2007 12:30 am

I was in last night doing a shift and some of the pictures are peeling off the backing boards. And the chain round the cabinet doesn't actually stop it being opened ...

I'm around this week if people need a hand with things - or can tell me where things are ...

I was in a place where they were using these same cabinets to diplay stuff. They had a cunning little widget for locking them shut. It's just a wee lock that uses a key, and all it does when you lock it is stick out a lump of metal. You screw the thing onto the wood and position it so the metal stops the door from being opened.

I want to buy one of these for our cabinet, but haven't seen them on sale anywhere. Where might I find them? I'm thinking maybe B&Q. Any other suggestions?
