my company, pazzia contemporary performing collective, will be
mounting a new show called "la bonne cuisine" as a part of the fringe
in august. i'm not yet sure where this is going to take place,
probably as a street performance but maybe also as component of
various cabarets etc.
i'm really keen to discuss with you the possibility of mounting a
photo exhibition for the same time period, ideally in the forest
gallery. this would bring you beautiful vibrant shots of performance
artists at work, and simultaneously act as a bit of a marketing and
exposure strategy for us during the fringe season. i have an extensive
body of fantastic pics available from our october-march "soft sculpt"
tour. all the work is by emerging photographers in canada and
australia and is definitely of professional quality.
i'm based in edinburgh at the moment, but am preparing to mount the
same project at montreal fringe in june and will be out of town for 3
weeks during that time. i'm able to provide as many items for display
as desired. i have several hundred beautiful photos at my disposal.
i'm attaching a few samples of our work for display.
i look forward to hearing back from you at earliest convenience, and
feel like this could be a collaboration that works in favour for us
i also want to ask you, if this was to go ahead, do you think this
would be a project likely to be covered by forest's monthly grant
scheme? this would be awesome if possible.
