Does anyone think that the cave should be more fully soundproofed?

That would be good to me.

good idea - i always wondered how the kitchen could cope with the cave right below.
you need to build a "floating room" - a room-within-a-room: raise the whole thing off the floor and insulate the walls. john williams or someonne can probably advise, i only know buzz words
