INVITATION TO WRITERS FORUM

The Playwrights' Studio, Scotland would like to invite you to our
Writers' Forum

Writer or Auteur?

As the playwright can your personal creative vision be
maintained in the production process?

a.. For writers on the cusp of being produced how do you
handle your relationship with the producer/director?
a.. For experienced playwrights how do you have a greater
influence in the artistic decision making process or with experience
do you move towards relinquishing control of the work? What is the
benefit in taking a step back from it in order to allow different
interpretations?
An evening of relaxed discussion and sharing of experiences in
the Tron Theatre's Victorian Bar.

The forum aims to encourage critical exchange amongst artists
by bringing playwrights together to discuss different approaches to
their art form in an informal environment.

The event will take place in Tron Victorian Bar from 7.00 - 9pm
on Tuesday 17 April.

Places are free but limited. To book a place, please call Suzi
on 0141 332 4403 or email suzi@playwrightsstudio.co.uk by Thursday 12
April.

The first drink is on us and the bar will be open all night!
