We got this year's form. Are we doing it? If so, what price should I put/head (it specifies it should cover 'a typical three course meal' but not drinks). £5.70 to cover the most expensive thing on the menu (nachos) and a cake? Or just the nachos? Or nothing at all?
Seriously though...I should reply if we're going to do it. I will assume we want to go ahead and give them a 5.70squid limit unless people tell me otherwise by Wednesday afternoon. (I think that maybe we gave them a much smaller limit last time - meal only, no dessert? I don't really care either way, or not at all.)
call it £6... i think that is plenty and probably too generous but they ring up and whinge if it's £2.00 and then they give us lame reviews

I don't really get it. Can we not give them a price range?
Oh, i just read their last review.

It's not too bad! And not totally wrong.
I say around £5 if they're wanting an average.
Maybe we should work on our negative point. It is a bit nasty of us to make people clear up after themselves. Life's hard, eh!

i think matt gave them a tenner last year.
basically, the scam is this: interns / low level writers at the list get a free meal and they take their friend along with them. so, basically, they want food for two people (is my impression) plus drink and a desert.
at 6 or 7 quid it's do-able and i do believe it brings us plenty of bussiness and is worth getting a good review if possible. MAKE SURE to write down that they come in the daytime when a KM will deffinately be working.
