So, as you might or might not know, Argyle house has a big kitchen with potential (and our intention) to become a certified commercial kitchen, which means that Forest as well as other groups could cook food and legally sell it, as well as using the space for food workshops and probably much more. If this sounds like something you would like to be a part of, join us for the first meeting taking place at 6pm on monday, 11th of february outside Argyle house!
What you should think about for the meeting is
1 What would you like to use the Argyle Kitchen for? Classes, cooking to sell? For big dinners etc
2. How often would you like to use the kitchen (approximately)? Once or twice a week, monthly, more rarely than that?
3. Would you have time and energy to take an active part of the kitchen team and help restore the kitchen?
4. How much would you want to pay to use the kitchen?
Other things that needs discussing is;
How cleaning will be done
How food allergies etc can be worked around
Health and safety issues
A good name for the group
and probably many more things, a proper agenda will be made though, and at the meeting it is most probable that we will go to Argyle and have a proper look at the kitchen if you haven't already!
