This 4 pack from Maplin costs 70 quid. They are the same as the pair that Newington Bandit and I have. We tested them all over the building and the reception was wall to wall and treetop tall. So, shall I put some motion lotion in the pregnant roller skate, pick up a seat cover and put the pedal to the metal with a smoky beaver on my back door?

Maybe it could work? But it will be a kaleidoscopic blend of mysterious shadows and rainbow hued-dreams seen through compassionate tears.
Hello! We got the Walkie talkies. I was gonna set them up but thoiught it might be best to leave it to the experts. they are in a white box under the big desk in the office.

They will need charging first, I think. They come with 4 AAA (or slightly smaller) batteries each. You put the batteries in each radio and sit them in the chargers. There isn't an indicator on the cradle to tell you when they are fully charged, and the battery indicator on the radio isn't reliable. To avoid the memory effect, you need to fully charge them (about 12 hours), and then each time, use them until they are out of juice and then fully charge them again. It isn't recommended to have them on while charging. After a few days, we should get an idea of how long we can have them on.
Do we have our own handles, or do we have a handle for the job we're doing?
