HELP - I can't edit shit

Hey -

I can't get in to edit things on the front page any mopre. I can log in but i keep getting told that: the page is being edited by another person. I highly DOUBT that.

This is really really bad.

1) can someone help
and
2) can someone put my poety event on the front page?

I'm seeing an Edit button next to the Stolen Stories thing, even though I'm not logged in and don't even have an account. When I clicked it, I got the 'somebody else is editing' message.

the account 'evs' had left the pages checked out. sorted now.
