What computer are you using, one of the linux ones in the action room?

If you've downloaded a zip file then it should be on the desktop somewhere. Right-click on the file and choose "Extract Here" to get the files out of it.

To install a font that you've downloaded on ubuntu you need to put it in the ".fonts" folder. Go to Places (top-left) then Home, in the Home folder click on View and then check Show Hidden Files. Now you should see a folder in there called ".fonts". Drag-and-drop the font files that you extracted from the zip file into the fonts folder.

Now close and restart Open Office or whatever program you're using and you should be able to use your new fonts.

Maybe we should install more fonts on these computers by default.
I've had it with you. If I had an image of a laser gun I would absolutely position it right here in my hand...
Ha! I have a real laser absolutely positioned in my hand!
