Garden clear out

Post by lucky » Sun Dec 28, 2008 4:58 pm

We have a long overdue cleanout of the garden, due to environmental health. We need a team of people who want to come in sometime, or over times, to get it all sorted.

Speak to me in the kitchen or post on here if you're interested i.e. AMAZING.

There was someone in the other day asking about doing gardening work. I took a guess and told them you were the person to talk to, so hopefully they will get in touch soon.

Hey Swithun and I are always happy to look stupid in our matching teletubbies costumes... We're only available on week-ends though, not every week-ends at that, and Sundays depend on what the double bill is at the Cameo... But if the clear out happens when we're free, we'll be in!

We need a really, really big team, and a place to dispose of all the crap which I'm trying to organise.

I need more names, will ask people as I see them.

Thanks guys, I'll try to give plenty of warning and make an action on a weekend, once I know where to throw it all away.

Has there been any progress on that City & Community Gdns posting? The posting a couple below this one, offering assistance.

If they do huge regular menial stuff it also helps energize others to be involved to do whatever they want, so it needn't dissolve a homey, cooperative feel.

Good words like "having resoures" and "making a garden productive" are used.
