Urgent!- Broken Lighting Mixer in cafe

Post by jamiec » Tue Jul 12, 2011 10:11 am

I had a look at this yesterday...

the switch seemed broken so I removed it dismantled it and tried to repair it but it still wouldn't go on.

i then tried to hotwire the mixer to always on and it still wouldn't work

i checked the fuses and replaced the plug fuse

still no luck.

would anyone else like to have a go?

ok, had a look. cable to box is live. I couldn't open the input fuseholder, I suspect it has overheated and melted, so in the first instance we need to open the box and replace the fuseholder. Maplins will have them if we dont.

Didnt look further, but I think that may do the trick
