Forest Publications

Post by ravanwin » Mon Jun 18, 2007 3:27 pm

All -

so, we are getting 10 isbn numbers and 10 Issn Numbers from the people who supply such things.

It seems, however, that the name we were going under, Forest Publications, has been taken as has Forest Press.

It seems that The Forest Publications is still availible as is, probably, The Forest Press.

Are there any other names out there that we would like to use as ours for Submit magazine and all the other booky products we may future make?

Maybe it could work? But it will be a kaleidoscopic blend of mysterious shadows and rainbow hued-dreams seen through compassionate tears.

from the people who supply such things
who issues such things?
i still think as general an umbrella term as possible is preferable so it can take in forest records if necessary in the future too. although i'm not sure about the legal similarities of publishing music and publishing books/words. they're obviously both publishing so i'd imagine they're quite similar and one body can release either format... "audio books", "written/sheet music". Forest Arts Publishing is ok - nice wide scope. "Publicious!"

So we could stay with forest publishing if we don't mind other folks having the same name? does it matter?
