speak to the plants! ask them what they want...

no but really.

Its hard to tell people what to do...you know....gardens are Lving Things, you have to get to know them, understand the light and shade, get a feel for drainage and watch and listen and learn.
There are lots of things to do if you can find them....even just cleaning up out there is usefull......

I cant tell people what to do coz i really find gardening is an intimate and personal loving creative experience, working to enhance and encourage all types of life through all types of action. But mainly its small stopping and seeing.
Its not just a list of chores...like a dead thing ( eg:a house) needs.....

so........i dont schedule dates to go out there, maybe i should more, but theres nothing to stop people exploring on their own then asking questions.
It needs love,
-you got love?
up and at it.

Maybe it could work? But it will be a kaleidoscopic blend of mysterious shadows and rainbow hued-dreams seen through compassionate tears.

I do not know what to do in a garden. If I am going to help, I need some guidance. What else can I say?

I was given the impression that I should leave it alone becasue people who know what to do, people will have a delecate system for various plants, we don't want to overwater or overwork things that don't need it etc etc.

Whereas some of us have intution and knowledge, some of us lack either/both skills in this respect.

An idiots guide to Gardening

Post by danny » Wed Aug 01, 2007 5:51 am

I think I'd like to learn more about gardening. I wondered about buying "an idiots guide to gardening", if that book exists. Idiots.. Clowns.. Fools.. In the East somewhere or "Great Fool" is another name for a zen master. In the West "great fool" can more commonly means: Knob, Dickhead, Asshole or Wanker. Maybe we can learn great wisdom from these Fuckheads if I'm not talking absolute Bollox.
