this is something i wanted to do for a while. heres a list of items in the shop which have no paypal button i.e. which are not purchasable through the homepage:

danseizure - lets not go out with...
ragland - seexons
dirk markham - psv3
miroslav mitrovic - songs of the future
umbrella mouth - electronic shopping
danSeizure Vs danAmbrose
danseizure - at home with
danseizure - in bed with...
dirk markham - psv2
dirk markham - advent
cmg - dont go midi
peter escott - live at the forest (actually priced at £ (GBP))
peter escott - 4 seconds ep
arctic circle - volume one
dirk markham - my definitions of country

that mean, out of 22 items, only 7 have paypal buttons and can actually be bought.
gonna post this on website and shop threads too....
just gimme the forests paypal code and tell me how to add it to existing shop items.

beev, gaza, who got da kode?

also we REALLY REALLY should add ALL merch (frisbees, tshirts, signed fotos etc) to the shop....

it seems especially important that we make all this available online as forest is again potentially facing a period of homelessness. im sure 4rest can exist as a non-physical entity (or at least a nomadic one - like a poltergeist occupying different host bodies) : please help confirm my hegelian ultimate idealism.....! : )

ok i guess this is it. this is copied from the AC - volume 2 item: i know that was bought online recently and the loot went to the forest pp. how does this code change for differing prices?....

woops - something went wrong on that last post - looks shit (though i can edit/delete my own posts). what is copied from admin is:

Code:
<form>
<input>
<input>
<img>
<input>
</form>

have added it to all my own items via the com_ezstore section of joomla admin. didnt wanna fuck with any other artists items in case theres any mistake but it seems to have worked (pp button now appears on all my items)
only question remains if one needs to change the code at all for varying prices - or is that defined by the "Item Price:" field in ez store (guess so.) if so i can proceed and add paypal buttons to all items where its missing. then we just need to add merch items etc (golden hour book isnt actually in shop yet either as far as i can see...).
maybe this should be posted in website? who is in website and shop WGs?

alright. now i realise what i did is fucked up (good job i only did it on my own items). so the code (which i foolishly cannot copy) is unique to each item. so who do i find/generate this for any specific produkt?
better delete that code from my items or anyone eager to get there hands on my def of country will be sent AC vol 2 instead : )

....so...still not quite sure if this should come under shop, website, records or publishing. anyway, i realised i have my own pp account and just made myself buttons for my own items.
of course this doesnt help golden book and all the other items in this list. as far as golden hour book goes, i think it still needs to be added as an item. i can do that (would need cover imaged) then whoever has forests paypal login needs to go there and create the code for a button - then people will be able to buy it online.
also, i still think its vital that forest makes all merch available to buy online - again all these need to be added as shop items, an paypal button code created for each. im happy to do any of that...

thanks gaz. my only remaining question is whether i need to log in to admin as "forest"/"admin" if i want to add a "forest product". i suspect not but can check with pogo on that.
golden hour needs to be added as a shop item pronto as does ten inch and all merch. these items need be be "seller - forest" and linked to forests paypal (which i can now do).
will also proceed with adding forestpaypal buy now buttons to other shop items.

you sure can. aye if you know how go for it - just log in the homepage (or i think it works in admin too) and click "post shop items" (you need to be on your "profile page") (or via the admin section i guess - components - ez store...) then fill in the blanks and save---
