Visual Arts have plans for a photo project in the gold room

In brief: we want to take down the mirrors in the gold room and use that space for a photo wall on the theme of "Public Places". It will start with a couple of photographers work and have a poster inviting others to add thier own. When it is full up and bursting, we'll start a "take one, leave one" policy. After a couple of months we'll move it elsewhere in the forest - that way we are not monopolising the space and other groups get a go.

I think it'll be great

So, I still have all the photos from this ... how about putting it back, or has it had its time?

People said they would add more photos but they never have anything printed. I might set up a website and invite digital uploads, then print them myself or make them into a slideshow to be displayed in the cafe somehow?

stencil could be nice but pogo is also sending a goo pic of him. Stevie and Hailey still have his cane and his shades... so, I was thinking we coulkd fix the gold room up to be a bit more cozey than it is now. especially for the winter it would be quite nice.

kind of like jane and tim had done in the past.

True, it goes with maybe moving the computers (I know I know, eek, where, yadayada) and making it comfy.

I dunno if you remember, but I removed the comfy sofas from the Gold Room and put in harder chairs as there were tons of people just coming in and slodging their bodies onto them, not moving, doing anything, and generally making it bad energy. These people aren't around anymore, not as much at least, so maybe it would be good to make it cosier again.
