old photocopier?

Post by beev » Sun Dec 02, 2007 10:45 pm

What are we doing with the old photocopier? We still pay about £600 a year for maintenance and ink/toner etc. Do we wanna cancel that?

been meaning to talk about this.

we should probably cancel the contract but, then again we are still using the copier. there will be a bit of drama regarding this (we've probably locked ourselves into a 20 year contract or some shit but ---- we'll see) anyway, what do people feel like doing?

Is there anyway to get toner and stuff without a contract? It seems ridiculous to spend 600 for a second machine.

Even if we can't get toner for the old one, what's the point in paying for both?

It also doesn't make any sense to have it sitting around doing nothing either. Can we find some other organisation that needs one and transfer it to them somehow?

It´s probably worth having a back up in case something happens with the new machine and we can´t get it fixed for a few days. Also, I thought the old one would be transferred to the work-only office (ie: braillenet)?
