Are we really wanting to keep the recycling bins in the corridor outside the office? I don't think it's the best place, beside a fire exit. Also, the recycling has already mounted up and it adds to the pain of recycling that little bit more to have to have to carry it all up the stairs. After it's been carried from upstairs already.

I was thinking of putting the blue bins where they were upstairs beside the church doors, and proper signage to keep it sorted. Like, if this bin is full CLOSE THE KITCHEN FOR 15MINS AND JUST DO IT.

I dunno. Thoughts?

Yeah, I liked them upstairs, but it´s no good unless KMs really are going to close the kitchen everytime it needs to be done. We can´t have it piling up there when people are renting the hall. Of course, we really shouldn´t have it piling up downstairs either.

I'm making these posters and sorting it out. Hopefully.

Okay, so I've cleaned out all the bins, like gave them a wash and everything!

It was stinking, as I'm sure you will all appreciate. PLEASE keep it in order. The recycling is EVERYONE'S responsibility who uses the space, and is just another mess that is always left up to the kitchen to sort out. Which is fine if we have time, but it's a bit disheartening for myself or any other Volunteers when it's a mess, and there's loads of crap that isn't even recycling hanging around it.

Rant rant rant, you get it I'm sure.

If I see anyone fucking about with this I will personally garotte them

Much love,

Alex*

Right, excuse my language, but I was f*cking livid this morning.

All the recycling bins had been placed back downstairs, blocking the smaller fire exit to the back, and all bins filled with rubbish that wasn't even recycling.

WHO THE FUCK!

I spent AGES on Sat sorting it out. I washed my hands so many times it wore away a layer of skin on the back of my hands.

I've sorted it out, and it took half an hour I don't have out of getting the kitchen going in the morning. I don't need this, I don't need to be picking up after other people especially when a really simple system has been put in place.

Not happy at all. If anyone feels like apologising please feel free.
