No, that's using what's called the 'box', which allows you to add text and images reasonably simply.

One thing to watch out for when adding images to 'the box' is to set the width to 440 pixels in 'options' and tick the 'create thumbnail' box. it just seems to work better that way.

Sorry for using the old logo - thought there might be a new one, but thought that would do to get the ball rolling - If you're going to upload the new logo then 300 x 300 pixels is optimum... :D

i really dont understand this thing . we have a few friends all ready , who are they! .

anyway i guess we have to discuss how we are going to use it , i can see us being overwhelmed by comments . As i can see proposals becoming like spam.

can we disable comments ? as far as i can tell this is still in beta , so its still to be tweaked . its seems like we cant create events on it and invite people . this would be cool . a bit like facebook. it has a blog section , but i have no idea how it works .

thanks mike for doing this. let make it fun !

on a positive note you do see work from outside Edinburgh , which is quite refreshing . i can see some strange shows coming out of it .

I thought the most basic level of Ning was free - you get stuck with ads though i think...
