Forest Jukebox: Greatest Hits

Post by Jimmy Bastard » Thu Apr 17, 2008 4:38 pm

We need music to play in the shop.
I imagine it would be easiest to make five or so CDs.
So then what goes on..
post 'em here.

i think SGRB maybe not cos they only played here once and they prob don't even know they have such status with us and they not really intrinsically linked to the Forest, you dig?

so, talking of devolving power to the working groups ...
why is this thread in FWG? I see no need or no secrets here.
why is it not in the shop forum? Admin!

I agree, James.

It will take more than a few people's favourite tune to fill 5 CDs. I suggest everything we have by The Very and Conflict Diamonds. Mr Z is good too. There is at least 1 CD there.

Asazi Space Funk Explosion will give you an 8 track demo if you want...it may make people dance uncomtrolably in the shop and they may knock things over. haha, only joking but the offers open

actually, sgrb are the sound of jane kitchen managing hungover and as such were played for many mornings for many years. they were the first thing I ever bought from the forest shop. alex has now picked up the baton. they have become a sound of forest whether they know it or not, by being played so many many times on that jukebox. x
