Fothcoming Volunteer Party

Post by Jimmy Bastard » Fri Apr 25, 2008 11:31 am

it occurs to me the last party might have been the party to end all parties
but
there hasn't been one in at least two months now.
so we should fix a date and get ideas going.
is Bryony on this one?
)is this another thread that should be in the public domain?)

Yeah, clearly volunteer parties are not forest working group only.
I've had it with you. If I had an image of a laser gun I would absolutely position it right here in my hand...
Ha! I have a real laser absolutely positioned in my hand!

clearly.

Me and pockets could have a crack at a MP3 vollie party ... we'll have a laptop and people can bring ipods, cd's, memory sticks and play a few of their fravorite tunes ..

I once ran a club night along similar lines.
it's there I coined the phrase
misc. jockeys
I say, yay, make it happen but check with Bryony.

Yup, I've seen many similar events advertised. Not an original thought, just thought it could be fun.

We will chat to Bryony.

Events book makes weekends look very full. Guess I'll phone round and ask people to move?

A kegger is the way to go. We need some proper rock music this time. Viking helmets might be easier to find than bear suits. I'm away the last 2 weekends of June, but apart from that, fuck on.
Look, if it's about that time I puked green slime and masturbated with a crucifix, it was my first keg party, Bobby!

How many people does it take to buy a Viking helmet for Thor's sake!

I really am very sad that I will be missing both of the volunteer parties...
But, I have a few ideas for the kegger, being an american and all...

1. togas - there is nothing easier to make than a toga... most people own bedsheets (if you all want to go the University-frathouse route...)
2. red plasic cups - classic, must have
3. designated vomit bucket - could be a good idea
4. ice luge and colored vodka
5. classic drinking games such as beirut, quarters, fuck the dealer, etc.
6. Animal House on the projector????

It should be a Superbad theme. the only booze you can bring is booze you've coerced a minor into buying for you. Challenging, rewarding, illegal and funny, and it will make for great stories at the party...you can then bring the minors with you and get them pissed like the irresponsible adults you are.
It's like God's vagina!

So you know for the future, it takes 0.25 people to buy a viking helmet.
