hey so we could use this to discuss prep for the 08080808 party. Let me begin:
some of the crew from London are up for coming for this, Will (who played the last paint party downstiars) is up for it, he should be listed as KWERK. We talked about that and it seemed all go so I said that to him. He's also talked to ArtJam who would be up for it if we can cover their travel costs, what do people think? - http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu ... =257008173
there would be seven of them
And this band are up for it too, same deal we'd need to cover their travel:

What say we? have we got space in the schedule?

Anything? Any budget to play with for travel costs of musicians? Any idea about how many people should come from London? We had £500 approved right? Has that all gone on lasers?

You need to put a cap on travel. This is already a very expensive party. £100 absolute max, preferably less (in my opinion).

Are these the ones that cost us 200 quid last year? That was a bit controversial if I recall.

whist i understand your concerns about readability , i think that nobody is going to read it anyway in festival . the town is going to be covered in flyers and posters with info on it .

so the key thing is to have something that people will pick up , something that intrigues the viewer and they may make the effort to read it . the info is there .

i think the front is great and i have no worries about the readability. It is 8 . 8. 8.

The back, however, should be slightly more legible - if possible. I think that would be great because the back is where the details are. The front just looks cool.

the back will be more easier to read , for a start i dont have the time to customize every word . just maybe a bit of malfunction here and there .

a balance between the two is good .

I missed this thread. How did you manage to have the above conversation and completely miss this comment. It's cost us £200 again this year (or £170?) and you went ahead with it anyway?

So just spoke to the crew coming from London, they need decks (or at least a deck) and a drum kit for their performance. Can we have that up in the hall on Friday?

Just got exact ideal specs from them:
kick drum, snare, hi-hat, ride/crash cymbal, floor tom.
Sound do-able?
Also Alex - sorry, I'm not ignoring your post, we should talk about this but maybe after Friday?
