New Flyer for the Forest

Post by marian » Wed Oct 01, 2008 6:20 pm

Hi people,

I made the new flyer for the promotion of the Forest.
I want to know what do you think about it. Let me know!!

If you are agree, I think (that is a good idea) print this flyer with good paper. Do you know where can I go and do it?
I want to go in street and give them to people, explaind and if they are interested giving them the program as well.

Thanks.

maybe instead of working groups we say "istallations and events and sounds" or something ....? working groups sounds pretty lame in this context.

so to make this flyer is ............

at eca

£45 for a5 , colour back and front , 100
£27 for postcard size color back and front , 100
£15 for one sided colour

these are done on photocopier

for a 1000 a5 full colour , it would be 450 and the guy says go to pro printer and get it done properly .

i dont know how much this will cost or which printer chris uses . i reckon its cheaper for a 1000

I think this looks GREAT, but what I would say is that is that if you're planning to give it out to people then maybe an A6 postcard rather than A5 is a better size, as it fits in people's pockets much better. If we went for a smaller size we might have to increase some of the text sizes a bit to keep them legible, but other than this i think the design will work well reduced down to A6. I also know of a printer that can do 5000 of these at that size as nice postcards for about £120. Unfortunately it doesn't get any cheaper than that as that's their minimum print run. What say we all?

@ Marian: if people think this size and quantity are a good idea I don't mind helping you get the job ready for sending to a (proper) printer, as there are a couple of things that we need to do with the file before we send it off (I know this sh*t unfortunately - I used to do this for a living).

I had a call from the printers today to say that the job had been printed (that quick, i know!) so I pointed them in the direction of James and Lynne as arranged - did either of you get a call from the printers today about paying for this? If we paid for this today then they should be here in all their glory on monday or tuesday at the latest...
