Post by condoleeza rice » Tue Nov 11, 2008 12:07 pm

boy i love those square plates. we should spend more money on square things. how much is our budget? how many more square items can we get? if everything was square imagine how much space we would save.

fuck. i hope they came from fucking fuck ikea?

can we get square cups?

I'm convinced by your eloquant arguement and believe the future is no longer orange...the future is now square.

Can we also have square emoticons as those round ones are pissing me off.

They are from SDS, our wholesalers. They were the cheapest square ones. I bought them after complaints that the display fridge was a mishmash of plates crammed on top of each other with things spilling off them. They have made the display fridge almost a haven.

look - the kitchen has a degree of autonomy in terms of budgets. While I am not going to defend square plates per se - I do defend the right of a KM to make reasonable decisions and act upon them. And frankly, anyone trying to make anything in the forest look / work better should be applauded. I would have preferered pentagon shaped plates - or perhaps some in a figure 8.

Would have been good if they'd been cheaper and more of a recycled nature but they do look good.

They were the cheapest. We need new things now and again. I'm sick of the kitchen trying to be as ethical as possible while elsewhere it is not as much.

I tried to make some square plates out of leaves, but it didn't work so well.
