Lights / Candles

Post by ravanwin » Mon Dec 15, 2008 10:07 pm

I was surprised to find that at 10pm lights were on in the cafe and front room with some long-term vollies working.

So - in the interest of clarity and harmony:
can we agree that lights go off and candles go out at DUSK for the entire cafe space and that if KMs are too busy to do this by the end of their shift than volunteers need to be told to do it at 7.

The cafe looks really ugly if it isn't lit up well at night but looks lovely by candle light.

No one told volunteers about daylights savings time / the change of the season so many have been waiting till 9 to put out candles. 9pm is the summer time rule. It gets darker earlier in winter.

Just as an aside, I think we might be running low on new candles, but I have no idea who deals with that...

I might just be going mad, then. I've not been sleeping much lately.

Sorry Nix, there wasn'[t anyone around to help me put them in a better place :(

Where is the best place to store them then?
