Forest BB

We got this e-mail in the totalkunstsubmissions email:

Hi
I called into the forest yesterday to ask about storing a sculpture I have made. The lady I spoke to asked me to contact you via your forum but it wont let me register? So I am contacting you this way instead.

I have recently completed a large sculpture at my art school in Leith. It hangs from the ceiling and is about 2.5m across and a couple of meters tall. Its made of thick wire, newspaper, parcel tape and wrapped in a soft fleecy material. So its not too heavy.
The art school have suggested that I submit it for some exhibitions this coming summer. There is one in Dundee by the SSA in May. However the art school is too small to leave the sculpture in in the mean time. I was therefor hoping that I could store/display it in the forest. It would look good above the stage.

The piece was itself inspired my the music of Felix Mendelssohn.

I need to move it out of the art school buy next monday!

The danger being that some tosser would torch it!

i'm at school with sarah and have seen this piece. it is very large, too large i think for the cafe stage area.
how about in the entrance hall, i know magda wanted to get the front of shop looking great and this could be good maybe
it could go in corner where library used to be but may be in way of projector and also a0 when they come back.
or the hall?

i like it , it may work in the red room ..

she could do with getting better installation shots , i find it quite hard to tell what it is . simple photos of the whole object would help.

so i have told her that she would need to make it fire proof and it could go in the entrance hall.
she may have somewhere else to show it, so i have left it at that....don;t think we will end up having it here now
