heres a list of things , i think need done to the gallery . some are small jobs and some may need a bit of expertise to do . me and mike are going to paint the roof on Thursday .

front windows

shelve about the window , could we extent it right across ? and maybe get uplighters where the spot lights are or at least get some bulbs for the existing spots and maybe preposition them , spray them white and make the shelve better looking

paint windows frame and whole area with gloss

clean the top windows .

clean the bendy pipe that goes to the window, its dusty as

get rid of extractor fan , and its control panel on the wall .

Walls and fixings

tidy the telephone cables round the skirting boards or can we get rid of it and its little boxes .

should any visible cables be hidden ?

should the skirting boards be gloss ?

fix the walls , need a good sanding .

paint the roof white and wood panels, fix all the edges so they are nice and sharp ,

hasps on the cupboard doors painted white (nixs is on this)

any ideas on how to improve the cloth currently hanging hiding the storage area ?

could we hide the wood panelling in the gallery making the walls go right up to roof

Well done everybody for getting stuck in, but especially Martin for a truly superhuman effort in co-ordinating it all and spending so many hours up a horrible wobbly scaffold (!!!!APPPLAUSE!!!!!)

so
if we had TK13 as a group show by us we could have a one week show and then sand floor the week before so it all looks lovely for our work, and then all glam for festival. it would be better than a last minute rush in TK16 before festival starts. i will be still at school mon-wed but around other days to help. we can keep it closed and get several varnishes down to make it shine shine shine

thanks martin for the beautiful white gallery

do we already have the varnish for the floor? If so what are the drying times?

It would be good to have a whole two weeks for the TK show in my opinion...
