some of these places maybe can take a poster and some maybe just a postcard size leaflet. i think its the repetition of seeing poster/flyer/image that is cumulatively gooood...
maybe we should figure this out too.

great list but considering credit crunch should we focus on the most important, ie art related places?
then when feeling rich we can go back to longer list

Hi I think you have Dancebase as a cafe? Is the National Centre and school for dance. www.dancebase.co.uk.

So many people go through for courses or for their drop-in classes. All different age groups, countries of origin. Such creativity and many performers. I love that place and is a good place for posters, wander through as is made up of dance studios one after another.

i guess i was thinking about 2 places, dancebase and the Lot which is a music venue/cafe/restaurant, because they are next to each other.
there is a place in the lot to leave stuff. however i went to dancebase and asked if they would take leaflets or posters and they replied that sadly they are allowed to display only dance-related stuff by their manager...
i also popped in the art library, that is upstairs in the main lending library, and they were happy to not only post the stuff for us( (you cannot just leave stuff there but it needs to go through the staff) but also DISTRIBUTE to other libraries...how nice is that! I forgot to ask how many that would be, i can pop around there later.
