To get the ball rollmg on sorting out the TK09 slots, I'm going to suggest Ailsa for the first week, black box and the slideshow piece for week 2 and the wolves for week 3 with suitcase satying on it current week 4 slot - any thoughts/alternatives to that order? Would like to keep Ailsa to week 1 if pos as I shall be there for that week.

I thought the wolfman was TK18 and Giuliana-the-filmwoman and theatre was TK19, just before the suitcase business.
no matter anywhich way. If you - Martin? - figure out the days with the blackbox theatre, i can then let Giuli know her dates around that. I think her dates are more flexible, as she is just sending the stuff in and I will install. (I will be gone from 13th to 16th or 17th so I will have to arrange that)
Also, she was wondering about an opening. I told her that we will not be able to organize this, but do you guys think that the theatre would like an opening event that could be also Giuli's 'closing event' - i mean something low key? I guess it would be up to them, but it might work?

hmmm,
This is where some of the suitcase stuff might be handy
If we divvy, beginning the september, the year into four week slots, there is one week between sept and oct (27th-4th) extra... 27th dec-to 3rs jan is extra... a week between march and april ( 28th-4th) also, and one between june and july (27th-4th).

So, there are 4 one week slots throughout the year.
Why not offer these short weeks to
a)some suitable suitcase action shows? ( some type of interactive stuff you do not want around for a month)
b)schedule some maintanence if needed...? floors come to mind...
c) could be for some other fun we can rustle up - a focused commitee show? a logos event/show/piddling time?

everything else seems to go nicely in 4 weeks pattern, and it brings us to 1st of August 2010, which is - sunday... voila.

Just to let you know that I met with Ailsa in the gallery yesterday and got her signed up for the bb/pointed her at the artists info thread etc. We also had a long discussion about what she wants to do with the gallery, which I am quite excited about, but I don't want to get into too much here, as she is still developing her ideas in relation to the space.

The only issue I want to raise in relation to this at present is this: due to the fact that there will be quite a lot of work involved in what she wants to do, and only so much of it that can be done off site, is there a possibility of giving her an extra day for set up (2 days in total) by shaving a day off of the group show, so that she can be up and running for the EAF launch on the 29th? (if we are still extending her slot back to the 29th as discussed above).

Let me know what you all think...
