computer fixing again

Post by milk » Mon Dec 28, 2009 3:58 am

right, so;

admins

primary machine - this is shiny and new and running xp. working fine currently?

secondary machine - non-functional. assembling one from all the available equipment is a priority.

action room

3 imacs that should work. are they all networked? would they run quicker with xubuntu?

4 black towers - to confirm which are broken. move the two with firewire to the other desk.

2 beige EUS boxs, 3 sun workstations - required now? specs? xubuntu?

1 shuttle - this is our second shuttle, donated by my beltane friend Dave who is in NZ currently. for the sound desk? we could use the prior shuttle for parts?

misc hardware - to sort out the usable stuff that could be used for the secondary admin machine or anything else.

When are you up for this? I could make it along on a Monday or Friday, or an evening sometime (not Tuesdays).
