some misc thoughts;
the golden hour would be great for footage, both of performances and crowd in the café area, though it would also be nice to get in some shots of crowd in the front room and the gallery area and have some footage from during the day to contrast it with. footage of the outside, both day and night, would also be nice. the Old Hat Books collective do their thing on mondays, wednesdays and saturdays if i recall correctly, would be nice to include some of their action in it.
for the shop - i don't know what times are busiest so you can get some members of the public browsing stock included. maybe quick closeups of each area/kind of stock would be good too.
working group meetings and workshops in the action room - the visual arts working group will probably have at least a few folk turning up - it's on the 27th of november. the dorkbot alba group meet in the action room on every second tuesday evenings, check the website for their next gathering.
for workshops in the hall - the forest chior and drama groups are both in there on tuesday evenings. it would be nice to include them also, so if you get there at the start and ask the workshop leaders if it would be ok to shoot some quick footage of them in action. also maybe 'self-defence for beginners' which is on monday early afternoons and thursday evenings.
there are several workshops in the crafty room though i don't know what might be a good example for you to shoot - Fanny is our workshop coordinator at the moment - you could e-mail her at workshops [at] theforest.org.uk to ask. or you could just turn up to the individual advertised workshops and ask the coordinators for those there if it's ok.
the tools workshop, darkroom and cave could be shot also - you could ask in the appropriate BB forum to get access, or you can find their coordinator contact details in the Volunteer WG forum on the BB.
big events coming up in the hall -
http://theforest.org.uk/event/solidarit ... aiser-rawa on the 14th and
http://theforest.org.uk/event/roc-na-gaidhlig-2009 on the 28th could be good for footage.
in the café - the freeshop every sunday afternoon, the gramophone hour, just before the holden hour. also, maybe if you speak to one of the kitchen managers in the day, they can let you take some shots from behind the café counter if you'd like. or you can try get general shots from in the sound desk area?
if you'd like more info on any of this or whatever, please comment and i'll get back to you!
thanks again
