closing a can of worms

Save the rest of the discussion for the meeting, please.

Maybe it could work? But it will be a kaleidoscopic blend of mysterious shadows and rainbow hued-dreams seen through compassionate tears.

Nicely democratic of you to just close the thread.

So we have to stop discussing/arguing because you don't like it?

Yes. It had become personal and it had become a flame war.

This is not a reasonable discussion:
So it's fine with you, oh high and mighty one. Thanks for your blessing. (NB: That was sarcasm)
Shannon requested an administrator close the thread, so I did. You and Joachim had both complained you were going round in circles and would rather meet, so let's do that.

But Jane, look, it's the first time me and Chris are agreeing on something.

Oh, and one sarcastic comment in frustration does not make it a flamewar.

Actually, the thread was locked ages before you posted, but since you're an admin, you can post in locked threads.

Why does the doodle timetable only start at 12? I could do Saturday morning, for instance.

It occurs to me I'm around at the Forest for choir on Tuesday night. So I'm free for a chat after that (9ish), but not a proper meeting as I'll be wanting to head home.

(Wanted to post this on the last thread)

I think the Forest website should look like this.

s'true. The people who run venues and spend time at gigs and drink long and late into the night at art spaces and want that kind of website that reflects that.... they are not the people who get up on saturday mornings to go to highly argumentative meetings. Trust me, this is going to be a snarky enough meeting from what we've seen so far. Let's not add hangovers into that mix, too.

Anyway, we don't need the mornings! We have friday afternoon, mais oui?

Some of us would like meetings held during working hours to be productive and non-snarky. I had an overwhelming impression from the closed thread that I was either speaking Greek or at a brick wall; I would like to think this goes better in a meeting especially if I am giving up work hours.

At any rate, I notice Milk hasn't yet responded. There's little point in a meeting that he can't make.

I too was wondering why milk hadn't responded when he is active on the bb. Milk? Can we make a decision on this?

Doodle gives you 5 options for times. I picked those times because someone had to pick something and everyone was just squabbling instead. If milk actually can't do fri at 2 or 4 (which is when everyone else can) then we can try a new doodle with early mornings.

no worries, Friday from 2pm works for me.

can anyone who's in The Forest/has mobile credit say if the Action Room is available then (as this is more than just two folk discussing and changing things at the same time)? and if not, book it? thanks.

if you go through life foreshadowing like that, then you're going to be steering your mind towards conflict!

i don't have the internet at home and have only been in The Forest a couple of times each week for the last month or so. i'm currently suffereing by using shoddy time-restricted library computers to communicate and do everything i normally do online (well, apart from the porn).

Hey, I am going to be lovely and bring cake! I foreshadowed a hand-holding meeting of love!
