To source and maintain the best equipment appropriate to forests multifarious needs. To one day live in the future.

- by 'source' we intend to find or recyle where possible. But consideration must be given to the urgency of the requirement and available resources.
- by 'maintain' we mean fix all things, provided it is not too time consuming.
- by 'the future' we mean, to transend from the 1990's and to actually live in the 2000's, and to really have flying cars and appartments in the clouds.

Tasks and responsibilities for IT Team members include;

* Workstation and computer network upkeep and maintenance
* Set up a file server to act as a document repository
* Organise and advertise for other techy volunteers to help
* Liaise with other project members and coordinators for requirements
* Work within the Forest and other communities for knowledge and help
* Personal projects that would add to The Forest are welcome

Please communicate and organise with others via this BB subforum!

P.S. Team members who wish to be listed as an IT Team Coordinator, please PM me. I don't really have the time or energy atm.
