The Pioneer Mixer was working fine when last checked a few weeks ago (apart from the annoying "thread gone on ground screw" issue) I will look at it tomorrow.

the Numark mixer is fucked, there seems to be a problem with the power transformer inside the unit. Owen was to look at it, or we where due to get a replacement.

I have been using the CD Decks as a mixer in the interim and seems fine for most applications.

the pioneer xlr outputs are currently fucked. (it gives a really distorted unusable signal)

the solution is to use the large jack outputs (if neccessary di box them to xlr).

we will get it repaired after the festival (not something we can do ourselves), but for now this solution works fine.

We need some system of communicating this , i was thinking stickers but then everything would get stickered multiply times and look awful , may in the same place each . This would have the info of what is wrong and how to in the case of this mixer to workaround it . other way is to have a hand over diary which should be checked each day . Although i do think having the information on the item may be the way forward .

information on item is the best solution.

marker pen on white electrical tape (they stick and remove better than stickers).

meant to do this after saturday..

whist we are on the subject . the cafe PA at times was only coming thru one speaker intermittently, i check the input signal and all was well . we where only getting one channel on the main output channel . So i suspect its a mixer problem . this was on monday.

i found this problem on jiggery fuckery. i fixed it then, but it was a problem in the vicinity of the stage breakout box to the amps, i will further investiagate..

There was some trouble with the cafe PA last night
it wasn't working through the normal speakers but we ran it through the monitors instead and it still sounded OK.
had an impromptu set from a pretty good band called "Nikki & the Porters". nice lads

not sure what is needed for GH but probably needs to be looked at?
