Screenprinting Q

Post by HGiles » Sun Apr 24, 2011 1:02 pm

Hallo,

I've just has this email through to forestroombooking@gmail.com, which I'm looking after while Chris is away:
Hi there

I recently signed up for the screen printing workshop and I have been trying to book through the online booking service, which doesn't work... I can see the availability of the workshop but I can't actually book. I was at the forest yesterday but I was told to contact the moderators. Is there a solution to this issue? Can I use the room without booking online?
My username is Matthew simos by the way...

I look forward to hearing from you
Cheers

Matthew
It was also sent through to screenprinting@. Who checks that one? Is someone involved with getting the screenprinting going able to take this one on?

i can accept him, if he's been inducted?
Does he have a photo id for that room- etc???

and someone should email him back to let him know if he can just "drop in" without booking online- but it sounds like he wants to "sign up" for a workshop first.... which doesn't get booked online aside from an email (?)

Hey Brittonie, Lien,

I've just met with Matthew, who it turns out *has* been inducted by Chris, and is using the screenprinting room 1-5 today. He doesn't have an ID card, but seems to know what he's doing. Cc'ing this into Chris to double-check that it is all kosher.

One problem: online it says "£4 for 2 hours or £6 for 4 hours", but in the booking system it charges £4 for every hour. Which of these, if either, is correct?

4pounds.

If a template hasn't been made yet for SP ids, then let me know- i'll make one...
also if there's a list of the "members" and all that- i'm pretty sure i gave all that to Lien ages ago.

perhaps we should meet (lien and i) so we can get on the same page?

If you're up for taking that on, that might be good. On the other hand, might be tricky to get everyone on the same page while Chris is away. On the other hand, it would be great if at least someone could write a new website text so that at least the information is accurate!

Aye, there're no screenprinting membership cards that I know of, so it'd definitely be good to have those.

i wrote the initial SP page, in hopes that Lien, Birgit or Chris would correct/ edit it.

I'll get the info and fix it up and get some id cards.

It's not really a big deal to do it... and i don't mind committing to coordinating the artist facilities

Yes,

The papers are in the darkroom, as well as the membership list.
Yet so far I didn't induct anyone, in the wonderfull world of screenprinting.
