This just in from New Caledonian Woodlands:
Hi

We are holding a Planet Pledge workshop at the Melting Pot (5 Rose Street,
Edinburgh) this Thursday from 5:30 - 7:30pm. This is a great chance to sign
up to planet pledge if you haven't already done so and to measure your
carbon footprint using our foot-printing tool.

Also if there is anyone else or any groups or organisations you are involved
with who you feel might be interested please feel free to pass this info on.

Best Wishes

Liz

Thurs 14 July: Planet Pledge Discussion - 17:30-19:30 - Melting Pot, 5 Rose
Street

Planet Pledge is a project that helps people who are concerned about Climate
Change to:

- Take a baseline of their environmental impact

- Learn what they can do to reduce their impact in a way that suits
their circumstances and lifestyle.

The aim of the workshop will to be to help people to find out what their
baseline impact is, and to empower them to reduce it in a way that suits
their lifestyle by informing them about the impact of various life options
so that they can make informed choices. The workshop would cover all
aspects of how we live our lives - energy, transport, food, consumer
behaviour, waste. We are able to support people beyond the workshop in a
bespoke way as required - the project is designed to be both holistic and
individualistic, and ultimately to help people to make positive choices that
they can easily live with.
