Now then, now then, that's what I call music, volume 1

Here is a mix tailor made for the Savile Row. No Sharp Dressed Men here though. Just down and dirty cock rock, sleazy pop and raunchy garage.

2 Stray Cat Blues - The Rolling Stones
3 Little Lover - AC/DC
4 Keep A Knockin - Suzi Quatro
5 Beaver Patrol - Pop Will Eat Itself
6 No Comment - Serge Gainsbourg
7 Love At First Feel - AC/DC
8 Jail Bait - The Travel Agency
9 Jail Bait - Flamin' Groovies
10 Cherry Bomb - L7 + Joan Jett
11 Tier - Rammstein

Heaven Sent, Hell Bent & Unrepentant Mix
Image
A sleekydeakydeaky offering right here, I was gonna trot out something about all New Weird American R&B,svelte basswork barely tethering treble heavy fleetfoot, lofty vocals..
but why not just lift lines from the immortal:

'Here it is, the groove slightly transformed
Just a bit of a break from the norm
Just a little somethin' to break the monotony
Of all that hardcore dance that has gotten to be

A little bit out of control, it's cool to dance
But what about the groove that soothes
That moves romance, give me a soft, subtle mix
And if ain't broke then don't try to fix it'

Here it is folks & only three months overdue

Been sitting with this mix, tinkering and figuring for some time
I wanted to nail a mix covering music from Africa and the African Diaspora.
Duly nailed on playback, a full 45 minutes felt a little bit on top,
so I broke it up with a few tunes with African samples and instrumentation.
It's a better melt for it.
Stay jumping.

That's quite a franchise you've built, EIGHT! I think that tags you on par with American Pie.

If you're seeking visuals for the mix.
Try

which in turn, reminds me of
