for a 1000 this is very good price. check for hidden costs though, there are always some and they slap them on afterwards without telling you beforehand. happened to me. they're all moneygrabbing bastards.

heya, i think is nice to make another forest cd. but i think 1000 is way too many, if you add up all the cds sold buy forest for all artists since we opended, it is probably not even 100.

so i think to make this many is a waste of money (at this monent). if we do things right, then one day we may need this many, but i dont think that is now.
Maybe it could work? But it will be a kaleidoscopic blend of mysterious shadows and rainbow hued-dreams seen through compassionate tears.

Hello.

We are a small record collective in Edinburgh and we wish to produce a
7 inch vinyl, hopefully with 2 tracks on each side.

What would prices be for a print-run of 200? Do you do runs of that
amount?
We are based in Edinburgh so please include details of postage.
Also what would be the maximum time length for each side of the record?
Finally - what format do you need the music to be to produce the record?

Thank you
Having registered your music with MCPS and also cleared your Catalogue Number with them, you would send me a Studio Master that has been EQ'd for Vinyl cutting.

Cutting DMMs from your Studio Master = £170 (we use Abbey Road
Studios).
Processing DMMs @ £40 per side = £80.
Set up charge = £30.

7" Pressings x 200 @ 30ppu = £60.
White Labels x 200 @ 3p a pair = £6.
White Paper sleeves x 200 @ 3ppu = £6.
(you haven't mentioned labels or sleeves, therefore I quoted White).

Delivery = £40.

Total = £392.
Vat = £68.60p.
To Pay = £460.60p.

Kind regards.

White Labels x 250 @ 3p a pair = £7.50p.
White paper sleeves @ 3ppu = £7.50p.
Delivery = £40.

Total = £447.50p.
Vat = £78.31p.
To Pay = £525.81p.

It's not much more then light weight and oh, so much better. Can we get authorisation for the spending for this? I'll post it to Forest Working group.

We also need to work out prices for covers and on vinyl printing.
